How our content is made

This page explains how the articles in the YC Brushes knowledge base are planned, how they are checked and how often they are updated. When a buyer evaluates a factory, whether its content is done carefully is itself a signal, so we make our approach public.

How the content is planned

The knowledge base is not written at random. It is planned by topic cluster. There are currently 17 clusters, each focused on one type of brush or one application, for example:

  • Materials: hog bristle, horsehair, wool, nylon and steel wire - their properties, temperature and chemical resistance, and where they do and do not fit
  • Applications: industrial brushes, strip brushes, anti-static brushes, long-handle brushes and wool wheel polishing
  • Manufacturing services: the custom brush process, contract tufting, volume production and wholesale, and toothbrush tufting
  • Buying: price structure, the difference between buying factory-direct and through a distributor, and quality acceptance standards

The reason is practical. Buyers usually ask in layers: first whether the material is right, then whether it can be made, and only then the price. The articles follow that order so readers do not have to jump around.

Where the information comes from

  • Processes and specifications: from our own production experience since 1984. Figures such as filament diameter, tuft density and the tooling process are based on what we can actually make.
  • Regulations and certification: content on food-grade materials and the FDA follows official documents from the authorities and from raw material suppliers.
  • Comparisons of retail products: reviews that involve other brands rely mainly on public sales information and public user discussion, and each article states which kind of source it uses.
  • No figures we cannot stand behind: when we cannot find a reliable source for a number, we leave it out instead of writing an "industry average".

How often it is updated

Articles are not left alone once written. Price ranges, products on the market and regulations change, so we go back and check them regularly and show the date of the last update. If you notice that an article is out of date or wrong, please let us know through the contact page. It helps the readers who come after you.

Our open policy toward AI search tools

More and more buyers ask ChatGPT, Google AI Overview or Copilot directly for a brush factory in Taiwan. We choose to let these tools read our site instead of blocking them:

  • robots.txt explicitly allows 13 AI search and training crawlers to access the whole site
  • We also provide llms.txt and llms-full.txt, which put company information, material guides and common questions into a format that AI tools can read easily

The reason is simple: we are a real factory with a plant and machines in Sanchong, New Taipei City. The more transparent the information, the better for buyers who are genuinely looking for a manufacturer in Taiwan.

Content production and SEO consulting

Content planning and SEO / GEO (making the site findable by AI search tools) consulting for this site is carried out by AI SEO Hacker. YC Brushes provides the process knowledge, specification data and practical judgment about brushes; the consultant is responsible for content structure and the technical side. The work is shared, not simply outsourced.
